God's plan for all of us.

Maybe His plan for all of us is clearly and simply laid out in the Bible.
Maybe we are to sell our stuff and give to people as they have need, love people, go out and spread the Gospel. And probably other stuff I've forgotten to include.

This doesn't seem right to me. God doesn't want all of us to live in squalor or poverty-like conditions. Nor should we live in materialism or greed. I think He's all about balance. Charity = good. Extreme charity = maybe not good, maybe good. Depends on the intentions I think. Just my secular point of view.

I agree that God doesn't want us living in poverty. I believe God wants the best for all of us.

Extreme charity, done out of the right heart, can't be bad.
If it's not done from the right heart, don't do it.
I'm not saying everyone should do this as a rule.
I'm just asking Christians to consider it.

So what level of wealth/comfort/whatever is balance?

Should we find a balance for our town? state? country? continent? world?

If we choose to live at an equal level with the entire world;
I imagine we'll all be living in squalor.
