This last Thursday I was at work, only Sergio and I were working in the shop that day.
I was taking dies out of a machine, sergio was filling out paperwork.
We were about 2 ft from each other. We heard a clash of something solid hitting the hollow metal material payoff stand. then we saw a 3/8" hex wrench sliding across the floor 30 or so feet away, hitting a coil of wire and coming to a stop.
The wrench was previously on the payoff stand.
The wrench could not have fallen off and bounced that far.. not nearly that far.
it could not have been thrown in a straight shot, hitting the payoff and glancing off and following straight to the coil of wire. The fork truck was in the way.
I'm not saying it couldn't have been thrown, hit the payoff, and bounced off the wall, it could..
but the trajectory of the wrench was straight, it didn't slide to the coil of wire at an angle.
It would take a great deal of imagination to figure out how the wrench arrived to it's resting place, even if it had been thrown by someone.
not impossible, but FAR beyond reasonable explanation.
Besides that. Nobody was in the shop, we looked around, and then walked through the shop looking for someone, nobody was there.
The only person who could have done it was Nick, but this stunt would be totally out of character for him, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't there yet. He arrived shortly after the incident.
so... weird eh?
not making it up.. no bullshit.
I've not seen anything like this happen before.
It really freaked out Sergio.
I wasn't scared, just really surprised...
